Make your move to your new Banks home easier with Move Assist -We’ll help you arrange your sale – and we’ll pay the estate agent fees*.
Buying a new home is an exciting time, but we understand it can also be a stressful period. You can rest assured that Banks Homes will be with you every step of the way. With our Move Assist scheme, we will help to ensure you have a smoother experience and take the hassle out of selling your home saving you thousands on estate agents fees.
How does it work?
1. Speak to our sales team about Move Assist, you will be referred to our partner The New Homes Group, the UK’s leading assisted move provider.
2. The New Homes Group will arrange for up to three local estate agents to value your home. The valuation is free and their advice is independent. As part of the process, you’ll need to provide an Energy Performance Certificate; this is to be paid for by you and is non-refundable.
3. Once you’re happy with the agreed valuation, two local estate agents will be chosen to market your home and The New Homes Group will work closely with the chosen agents to monitor performance to try and ensure a speedy sale.
When you home is on the market at the agreed price, we will hold your chosen new home for you for six weeks. Our team will be on hand to help you reserve a Banks home once your existing home is under offer.
Once it is sold, and you have reserved your dream Banks home, The New Homes Group will help with processing your sale, and managing your chain.
Following that, when you have legally completed on your new Banks home, our team will liaise with The New Homes Group and pay your estate agent fees.
Move Assist scheme terms and conditions
* A full reservation cannot be completed until the move assist property is sold subject to contract. The Banks property will be held for 6 weeks once your home is on the market. There will be a charge for an EPC.
Move assist scheme is available on selected plots, subject to status, terms and conditions apply. The scheme is available to existing homeowners only. A professional legal adviser is required to carry out the legal formalities of buying the home and to represent your interests. Banks Homes can provide you with a list of recommended solicitors and/or financial advisers as necessary. Smooth Moves are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time without notice. Smooth Move may not be available in-conjunction with any other promotions or offers. YOUR HOME MAY BE REPOSSESSED IF YOU DO NOT KEEP UP REPAYMENTS ON YOUR MORTGAGE OR OTHER DEBT SECURED ON IT.
